Teurajärvi
The timber, came from 52 lakes to the Teurajärvi dam. After the dam the timber continue along Teurajoki stream to Kalix River with the help of timber men. This important place in the history of Timber floating had become an overgrown dump over the years. During the workshop we cleaned up the space and chose the stones that would suite this beautiful area and bring life back. Together we created a unique excursion destinations. Timret, kom från 52 sjöar till Teurajärvi-dammen. Efter dammen fortsatte timret längs Teurajoki till Kalix älv med hjälp av timmermännen. Denna viktiga plats i timmerflottningens historia hade blivit ett igenvuxet skrotupplag genom åren. Under workshopen städade vi upp platsen, röjde sly och valde de stenar som skulle passa för att det vackra området skulle få liv igen och bli ett unikt utflyktsmål.
